The baker, decorator, and owner behind Folkmade Cookies - a woman and LGBTQIA+ owned home bakery based in Chicago. My journey began at Kendall College, where I studied culinary arts and built a career working in restaurant kitchens, resorts, catering companies, and event planning. Through those experiences, I discovered a true passion for creating meaningful moments that bring people together.

When COVID brought my restaurant job to a sudden stop, I discovered cookie decorating videos on social media and was mesmerized! I attempted my first set of Uno card cookies and immediately fell in love with the process. After sharing my work with friends and family, people started asking me to make cookies for them, and Folkmade Cookies was born.

Every cookie is made from scratch using high quality ingredients, including my homemade vanilla extract and vanilla bean paste, and eggs from my family’s chickens. To me, cookies are more than just dessert. They’re edible art designed to bring joy, connection, and a little extra sweetness to every occasion.

When I’m not in the kitchen, you’ll find me exploring Chicago’s restaurant scene, supporting local businesses, playing disc golf, or spending time with my partner and my pup.
